(nee Short); devoted father of Cindy Schurig and the late Benjamin L. Adams; loving grandfather of Thomas (Jessica) Cahill, Lea Adams, Brian (Daun) Cahill and Eric Adams; proud great-grandfather of Erin, Sean, Joshua and Adam; dear brother of Leon (Jackie) Adams , Alphy (Duane) Christian and the late Jerome Adams; uncle of many. Visitation Tuesday, April 26, from 4 to 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside, where a chapel service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, at 11am.
