James Edward Dunne, 88, of LaGrange Park,  WWII Navy veteran, passed away on February 1st, 2015. Beloved husband of Joan.  Devoted father of Laureen, James (Catherine), Terrence (Maureen), Julie, David (Margaret), Martin (Marcy) Dunne and Alison (James) Kelly.  He loved and cherished his 21 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.  Fond brother of the late William (Mary Ellen Gleason) and the late Dorothy (late Stephen) Lillis.  James was owner of Dunne Oil Company, and was a very active member of St. Francis Xavier Parish and of the community of LaGrange.  He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends whom he so dearly loved.  Visitation 10am until time of Mass 11am Friday, Feb. 6^th at St. Francis Xavier Church, Ogden and Spring Avenues, LaGrange.  Donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home.
