Sarah Mary Kralovec, age 56, of St. Joseph, MI, formerly of LaGrange, IL; died February 25, 2017, from cancer. Sarah was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by her siblings and outlaws: Mike (Bev) Kralovec, Katie (Mike) Conboy, Anne (Mitch) Pierce, John (Celeste) Kralovec, Paul (Donna) Kralovec, Margaret Bauer, Clare (Rich Kirchherr) Kralovec, and Matt (Cindy) Kralovec. Daughter of the late Mary and late Edward Kralovec. Outrageous and beloved aunt of Stephen (Laura), Chris (Nicole), Teresa, Josh (Lisa), Ashley (Curt), Mikey (Kayla), Nicki (Scott), Lynne (Vadim), Michael, Caryn, Jess (Brian), Joey (Kelsey), Matt, Peter, Andrew, Danny, Liney, Chrissy, and Jack; great-aunt of Anthony, Lucas, Payton, Alexa, and AJ; cherished person of her dog, Bogie. Sarah Kralovec had a huge heart, a hearty laugh and an unmatched zest for life, and everything she had she was willing to share. Champion of the underdog and loving protector of friends and family, “Aunt Say Say” considered her nieces and nephews her own children, turning every outing into fun and adventure. Sarah loved people and made friends wherever she went. A long-time volunteer for Special Olympics, Sarah didn’t just help out-she befriended participants, took them bowling, was there in times of need. An alumnus of Lyons Township High School and Western Michigan University, Sarah traveled the country and settled in Michigan, where she served as a Berrien County felony probation officer for 20 years. Sarah’s was a life lived to the fullest. Memorial Visitation Friday, March 3 from 4 to 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Memorial Service 10am Saturday, March 4 at the First Congregational Church of Western Springs, 1106 Chestnut St., Western Springs.
