Edwin D. Bunyea  age 90, of Bartlett, formerly of Western Springs  for 31 years. Loving husband and best friend of 69 years to Marion D.(nee Vorres); devoted father of Edwin (Pamela) Bunyea and Sandra (John) Ritt; cherished grandfather of Megan, Daniel and
Nicholas Bunyea and Peter, John and Sarah Ritt; dear brother of Marilyn (Cliff) Bodga and John (Charlene) Bunyea. Veteran of WW II – Captain U.S.M.C., flew Torpedo and Dive Bombers aboard the U.S.S. Carrier Rendova.  He was employed as Chief Engineer at H.P. Smith Paper Co. for 31 years. He enjoyed Boating and Fishing at his Powers Lake, Wisconsin Home. Visitation  Sunday, April 6th from 4 to 9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers Monday, April 7, 10:45am from the chapel to St. John of the Cross Church in Western Springs for Mass at 11:15am.
