John Thomas “Jack” Burke, age 89, of LaGrange. U.S. Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie E. (nee Torkler); devoted father of Tom (Cathy), Jim (Ann) and Ruth Burke; cherished grandfather of Daniel (Mary Catherine), Laura, Sarah, Samantha and Shannon. Jack was a client of mine since 1990. He was always great to work with as he was intelligent and well read on the subject at hand while always wanting to learn more and understand thoroughly. Open to new ideas that might benefit him or his family. He attended our client educational sessions and was always interactive.

Jack was a long-serving member of the Community Nurse Board of Directors and the Board’s Endowment/Investment Advisory Committees,and he and his family have been long time supporters of Community Nurse. Jack made such significant contributions towards the success of Community Nurse. He was a pleasure to work with.
