Frank L. Kranz, born Krasniewski, age 84, of Western Springs for 41 years.  Husband of Helen R., nee Romieniec.  Father of Karen and Paul (Jayne) Kranz.  Cherished grandfather of Matthew and Emily.  Frank was a retired 42 year employee of GTE Automatic Electric of Northlake and a veteran of the US Army.  Interment will be private.  A memorial mass will be held 11:15am Saturday June 21^st at St. John of the Cross Church, 5005 Wolf Rd, Western Springs.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Lung Association appreciated.  Hallowell & James Funeral Home assisting the family 708-352-6500
