Frances Klimcke

Frances KlimckeFrances Klimcke, almost 94 years of age, of Countryside, died on Nov.13, 2014. She was the wife of Deacon Walter Klimcke, who predeceased her on Dec. 7, 1998. She will be missed by her four loving children who survive her, Bill (Jeanne), Arlene (Ken), Judy and Ron (Jane). Her grandchildren are Mark, Laura, Christopher, Catherine, Paul and Tom. Her great-grandchildren are Hailey, Bryson, Ryan, Robert, Elise, Olivia and Carter. Frances has had many loyal friends throughout her lifetime that will dearly miss her friendship. Being a loyal and active member of St. Cletus Church, she served as Eucharistic Minister, Minister of Care to those in the hospital, nursing home and private homes. She also was a member of the Church Women United Mission Ladies, and was very active with the Helping Hands Society. As a deacon’s wife on May 11, 1974, both she and her husband, Deacon Walter Klimcke, were honored at many occasions. They were honored with a Certificate of Recognition plaque as a couple of Ministers on Feb. 23, 1991. Frances also received a Church Women United plaque as a Valiant Woman. She and her husband loved dancing. Frances entered Lexington Health Care almost 2 years ago. There, she loved her Bingo, Tea and Crumpets on Thursdays, cake and coffee, crafts, the Rosary and Mass by Father Wayne. The friends that she met there are too numerous to count and she loved them all. She was nick-named “Fancy Frances” because she always wore matching outfits, scarves, and bows in her hair. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 23rd, 2014 from 3 to 9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 24th at 9:30am and proceed to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange for Mass at 10am. Entombment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum.
