Lorayne “Tootie” Haase
Lorayne “Tootie” Haase, age 89, a five year resident of Somonauk, prior to moving she was a life-time resident of LaGrange and LaGrange Park, and a graduate of Lyons Township High School. She is the loving mother of Thomas (Mary Jane) Haase and Susan (Steve) Flodberg; also surviving are seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and her sister Grace Ellis. She was preceded in death by her late husband Edward F. Haase in 1983. Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 15 from 9:30am until time of service, 10:30am at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Interment to follow at Parkholm Cemetery. Our prayers are with you all, knowing full well Tootie is in a better place. We feel very fortunate for having the opportunity of knowing Tootie for many years and we’ll always remember her for her friendship, sense of humor, and constant smile. Friday nights in the the basement during the winter and on the porch in the summer were always the best.
