Dorothy J. Ondracek, nee Marek, 83, of Downers Grove, went to be with her Savior on February 18, 2015. Born to Stanley and Agnes Marek on January 10, 1932, Dorothy grew up in Chicago and lived in Berwyn, Woodridge and Downers Grove. She graduated from Chicago Teachers College and taught elementary education for over 30 years in south Berwyn. A wonderful mother, Dorothy leaves behind three sons, James Stanley (Diane) of Elgin, Brian Douglass (Donna) of Wheaton and Mark Alan (Alison) of Downers Grove, as well as 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her beloved sister, Rosemary (Kenneth) Crago and 2 nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Agnes Marek. A memorial celebration will be held at LaGrange Bible Church, 850-7th Avenue, LaGrange at 3pm on Sunday, March 8, 2015.
