Carmel in Melrose Park and St. Francis Xavier in LaGrange. She was Director of Alexine Learning Center Montessori Preschool. She was a teacher and staff member at Seton Montessori Preschool, Executive Director of Chicago Assn. for Education of Young Children (C. A. E. Y. C.), founder & principal of Cardinal Bernardin Early Childhood Center, an instructor for Headstart. In 1990, Sr. Barbara was nominated by the LaGrange Business Assn. as Outstanding Working Woman in LaGrange, IL. She traveled to Brazil, Lithuania, Nigeria and France to lecture/teach Montessori, as well as teaching Early Childhood seminars in the United States.
