“Our wonderful and triumphant Andrew Borge, 22 years old, graduated with a GPA of 3.5 from the University of Denver. He had hiked the Alps and Rockies, loved and been loved by his wonderful best friend, Katie, had solid friendships with his great band of brothers and sisters at home and away, and had very supportive and loving close connections with his family. He triumphed over an autoimmune illness (and subsequent addiction to pain medication) that tried consistently for 5 years to keep him down. He rebuilt his body and life and relationships with fierce courage, honesty, love and humility and became a man that we will miss in the most profoundly grateful and painful way.” Andrew is survived by his parents, Marc and Mary, his siblings, Elliot and Anne, his grandparents, Renee (late George) Borge and R.
