Dennis Wayne Tomaszewski, age 65, Feb. 26, 1950 – June 15, 2015. Son of the late Bruno and Dorothy Tomaszewski; devoted husband of Christine (nee Navarro); loving father of Dan; son-in-law of Connie Navarro; brother to Linda (Dan) Gregar, Tracey (Eddie) Simich, Jim (Kathy) Tomaszewski; brother-in-law of Patricia (Kevin) Seeds; fond Uncle to Dan, A.J., Tyler, Jessica, Nick, Anthony, Sydney, Jeremy, Jimmy, Alex, Kristin, Samantha, Gregory and Philip; great-Uncle to many. Dennis was a resident of Western Springs, IL. and Little Torch Key,FL. He was a devoted family man who loved to fish. Former employee of Darvin Furniture. Dennis was loved very much by his family and friends. Visitation 3 to 9pm on Monday, June 22 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers 9:15am Tuesday, June 23 from the funeral home to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, LaGrange. Mass 10am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. As a former classmate of Dennis, I was present at last year’s reunion of the St. John of God graduating class of 1964. I enjoyed seeing Dennis there and talking to him after all these years. We laughed together over some classroom memories. Such a nice guy! My deepest sympathy to his family at this sad time.
Dennis was a good friend in my life in grade school , high school and even came to my wedding! His GTO my 409 but his car was faster as he moved through life faster. I will always remember the good times we enjoyed together even at the reunion it was great to see him. Unfortunately it was our last visual time but the e-mails after were so funny and withy. I will keep these e-mails so I can reflect on his great humor. Dennis I know you are resting in a greater place and you will always be in my heart with our memories, till we meet in the next life may God Bless You in His kindness! You will be missed on earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!
