Thomas James Prendergast, Jr. (1937-2015), devoted and loving husband of Mariann (nee Mahlum), dear father of Thomas James Prendergast III (Kathy); son of the late Thomas James  and Rita (nee Moore), brother of the late William Prendergast (Marge), Mary Prendergast, the late Jerry Prendergast (Sandy), and Patricia Prendergast Duffy (John); fond uncle to many nieces and nephews; oldest of the many cousins from the South Side Prendergast, Barton, Coater, Hansen and St. Leger families; member of Plumbers Union Local 130, St. John of the Cross Seniors, retired member of U.S. Naval Air Force Reserve, serious Notre Dame fan who grew up in St. Margaret of Scotland Parish; a long time resident of Evergreen Park, Indian Head Park, Illinois and Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Gathering of family and friends at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 5005 Wolf Road, Western Springs at 8:45 AM on Wednesday, August 19^th.
