Sr. Emily (Victoria) Rokos, C. S. J., age 91, beloved member of The Sisters of St. Joseph of LaGrange, celebrating 72 years of Religious Life.  Beloved daughter of the late George and Emily Rokos, nee Pleticha.  Loving sister of George (Louise) and the late Alice Rokos.  Devoted aunt of Steven (Carla) and Greg (Jennifer) Rokos.  Also a dear great-aunt.  Visitation 3:30 to 9pm Wednesday, Sept. 16^th at The Congregation of St. Joseph Chapel, 1515 W. Ogden Ave., LaGrange Park, where Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 7pm.  Interment 9am Thursday, Sept. 17^th from the Chapel to Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Congregation of St. Joseph appreciated.  Sr. Emily was a Musician and Choir Director at Our Lady of Bethlehem Academy and The Congregation of St. Joseph Motherhouse in LaGrange for 47 years.  She was also Music Director at St. Barbara in Brookfield and at St. Mary of Celle in Berwyn.  She was a piano and organ teacher at the LaGrange Park Center.  Sr. Emily and other Sisters founded a Musical School at the LaGrange Motherhouse in 1994, where they taught piano, organ, violin and voice.  Arrangements entrusted to Hallowell & James Funeral Home, Countryside at 708/352-6500 or hjfunerals.com
