Michelle Annette Battles, of Palos Hills. Beloved mother of Brittany Ritchie and Alyssa O’Neill. Devoted grandmother of Victorria Deckert and Elijah O’Neill-Yasin. Dear sister of Dan (Sandra) and Michael (Jina) Boerman. Loving daughter of Janis and Edwin Boerman. Also several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday May 20, from 4pm until time of a 6pm Memorial Service at Trinity Lutheran Church (Green Trails Campus) 2701 Maple Avenue, Lisle, IL 60532. Michelle’s life was her grandchildren and family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Michelle Annette Battles Memorial Fund, for a bench that will be dedicated at this years Freedom Run on June 18, 2016. On behalf of the Zagar/Bozec family, please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of Michelle. It’s been many years since I last saw her. That is a beautiful picture you have shared. I have very fond memories of growing up with her, she was a very special part of my childhood, and I’m saddened we have not been able to connect as adults.
