John George DeBoer, 83, of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Naples, FL. U.S. Airforce Veteran and Executive Vice-President, Waste Management of Illinois. Beloved husband of Marcia Nell DeBoer; dear father of Michael, Daniel (Balbina), Douglas (Tina), and John (Amy) DeBoer; loving grandfather of Brittany, Justin, Lauren, Matthew, Katlyn, Linzy and Ashly Wagner, Paige, Heather, and Jillian DeBoer; devoted brother of Ann (Richard) Schuurman, the late Marie (late Andrew) Chapman, and the late James (late Marjorie) DeBoer; fond uncle and friend of many. John was a committed member of Christ Church of Oak Brook. He was known for his generosity, his faith, his good sense of humor and his gift for storytelling. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed flying and boating but, above all, he loved life and committed himself to his family. Visitation at 10am until time of service at 11am, Wednesday June 8th, at Christ Church of Oak Brook. Interment to follow at Bronswood Cemetery.
