Barbara J. Sansone (nee Braham) age 83, of Western Springs. loving mother of Mark (Marilyn), David (Kerry), Matthew and John Sansone; cherished Grandmother of Sarah (Justin) Newlin, Christine (Dan) Leek, Timothy, Adam, Brandon and Ethan Sansone; proud great-grandmother of 6; loved aunt of many. Barbara was a Docent “tour guide” for the Oriental Institute and she lived a fulfilling life of family and work. A private family graveside service will be held at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, followed by an open invitation to all friends to join the family for a 12:30 pm memorial luncheon, on Saturday, November 19, at the Hinsdale Seventh-day Adventist Church, 201 N. Oak St., Hinsdale, Il 60521. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated. Hallowell & James Funeral Home in Countryside is assisting the family with all arrangements. My condolences to the Sansone family. Barb was a wonderful neighbor, and I miss her spunk and her humor. I have a smile on my face as I think about some of the laughs we shared over the years. I love people who are direct, you never have to wonder what they are thinking. I hope the knowledge that Barb is at peace brings some comfort at this difficult time.

Mom died peacefully at 330 am on Monday 11.14.16 shortly after my brother Mark read scripture to her, Matthew 11:28-30.
