Arlene Grace Rehak, age 87, was called to the arms of the Lord on December 4th, 2016. Beloved wife of Robert J. Rehak. Loving mother of Christine (Jeff) Grohne, Laura, and the late Dianne. She was born in Chicago, IL on July 1st, 1929. Daughter of Daniel M. and Berenice Sharpe. She was an advocate for people with special needs, and founded the Actors with Special Needs Theater Group for Lyons Township High School. Visitation Friday, December 9th 4-9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, IL 60525. Prayer Service Saturday, December 10th 10:45am at funeral home with procession following to St. John of the Cross Church, Western Springs for Mass at 11:15am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulcher, Alsip.
