Loving father of Paulette (Canuto) Puga, Pamela Kegaly, Colette (James) Ruich, Vivien (Larry) O’Connor, Paul, and the late Edward Pilarski. Devoted grandfather to Kevin (Siobhan) Lynch, John Kegaly, Melissa (Joseph) Michalski, Robert (Jessica), Michelle (Eric Madera), and Jessica (fiancé Chris Morgan) Zimmermann. Great-JaJa of Edward, Jase, Clare, and Allison. Dear brother of the late William (late Joann) Pilarski. Loved uncle, and great-uncle of many. Friend of many. Survived by his loving, canine companion Harlow. Edmund was the former Pleasantdale Park Assistant Commissioner, former President of the Illinois Duck & Goose Alliance and former President of the Beagle & Bass Hunting & Fishing Club. He was a member of the American Legion, Robert E. Coulter, Jr. Post #1941, and a VFW Service Officer for the Western Springs VFW Post #10778. He had a passion for hunting, and was an avid fisherman. Visitation 3 to 10 pm Thursday, December 29th (Legion Service 7:30 pm), at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayer Service 10:45 am Friday, December 30th, at the funeral home. and proceed to St. Cletus Church in LaGrange for an 11:30 am Mass, with a committal service at Queen of Heaven Cemetery with Military Honors to follow.
