Paul Martin Jacobs died unexpectedly in Naperville, Illinois on December 29, 2016. He was 59. Although unexpected, his passing was peaceful. Paul was born on May 25, 1957, in Chicago Heights, IL to his parents, Edgar and Rhoda Jacobs (both deceased). He graduated from North Central College in Naperville with a B.S. degree in Accounting in 1979. He later earned an M.S. degree in Taxation and Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago, IL (1995). Paul married Patricia (Skweres) Jacobs in 1989. Paul and Patty continued to live in Naperville. Paul and Patty were blessed with two children, Zachary (24) and Jeremiah (19). Paul was an Assistant Professor in Business Accounting at Elmhurst College (Illinois). As a CPA, he also owned and operated a tax accounting business. Earlier in his professional life Paul worked for Servicemaster Inc. as a corporate tax accountant. In addition to Patty, Zack, and Jeremy, Paul is survived by four brothers, William (Percelita), Thomas, Kenneth, and Mark (Lizbeth). He is loved by numerous other surviving relatives, including in-laws for whom Paul became a brother, and nieces and nephews. A memorial service will take place on January 7 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 2220 Lisson Rd., Naperville, IL. Our heart is heavy for your loss. We thought so much of Paul. He was a wonderful business
person, our long time accountant and friend. Always willing to go the extra step to please. We will miss him so much!!! He was always there for you. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
