Mary Ann Maly, age 91, previously of Cicero, Illinois and Springfield, Ohio and currently of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017. Mary was born and raised in Cicero, Illinois, daughter of the late Louis and Christina Marchese. Also preceded in death by her husband, Anthony George Maly, son, Anthony Louis Maly, daughter-in-law, Lori Maly, and 3 siblings. Mary was a loving, happy and tough woman. Working into her late 70s, Mary always kept busy. Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren and was very social. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and traveling. Mary always made cookies, especially peanut butter and Italian cookies. She will be greatly missed by her children, James Maly, Joseph Maly, Katherine (Kevin) Lyons, and Nancy (Richard) Cutrell; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many other extended family members and dear friends.  Visitation 10am Thursday May 4th until time of funeral service 1:30pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
