Helene Anne Lockhart (nee Szwed)
Helene Anne Lockhart (nee Szwed) age 71, a longtime resident of LaGrange, passed away on June 2, 2017 with her family by her side. Dearly beloved wife of 49 wonderful years to Alex; devoted mother of Heather (Tom) Cavanaugh and Alex (Chris) Lockhart; cherished grandmother of Matt and Shawn Cavanaugh and Sam and Emily Lockhart; dear sister of Edward (Cindy) Szwed, Theresa Szwed, Michael (Jill) Szwed and Marilyn (Howie) Lange; fond aunt of many. Helene was an avid gardener. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, from 4 until 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home 1025 W. 55th St, Countryside, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held that evening at 7pm. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Adventist St. Thomas Hospice. 119 E. Ogden Ave., Hinsdale, IL 60521 would be greatly appreciated. Service Info: (708) 352-6500

Remembering and cherishing the happy times, and the wonderful memories the family made together at first they might be painful, however, those treasures will sustain and comfort your family now, tomorrow and days ahead.
