Kim Cherry, age 55, of Woodridge. Beloved wife of Glen Cherry for a wonderful 32 years. Loving mom of Megan (Craig) Grupp and Jillian Cherry. Dear sister of Chris (Aminta) Arrington. Cherished daughter of Charlotte (Otto) Wolf and the late Joe Arrington. Beloved aunt and friend of many. Kim was a devoted medical technologist at Advocate Christ Hospital Blood Bank.In the words of her family, “She was as kind and as loving as she was smart. Her sense of humor could lighten any mood. She was the best mom we could’ve asked for and Dad’s best friend. She was our whole world.” She loved and cared for all of her friends, her pets, and most of all, her family. She will be deeply missed.
Visitation 12pm until time of Service 3pm Friday, July 7th, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th street Downers Grove. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in Kim’s name, Greater Illinois Chapter, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you Glen, Megan and Jillian on the loss of you dear wife and loving mother, I know she will be missed. I was so sorry to hear of my precious cousin Kim’s passing…she was a beautiful person inside and out! My prayers and thoughts are with y’all..Glen,Megan, Jillian,Charlotte ,Chris and family!!
