Lois A. Lavin, nee Green, age 92, of Indian Head Park.  Loving wife of the late Joseph P. Lavin. Caring mother of Mary Kay (Raymond) Zobjeck, JoAnn (Donnie) Williams, Jean Pauga and Kathleen Lavin.  Devoted grandmother of Erika (Tom) Cimbalista, Megan Zobjeck, Melinda (Peter Mason) Williams, Courtney (Michael) Hoff, Kevin Pauga, Brian (Amanda) Pauga, Scott Pauga and Heather Pauga.  Cherished great-grandmother of Sarah and Andrew Cimbalista, Samantha and Henry Mason and Harper Pauga.  Dear sister of Bobby Green and John Green.  She was preceded in death by her brothers George, Floyd, William and her sisters Helen Weiss, Irene Dwyer and Patricia.  Lois worked at Rit Dye where she met the love of her life, Joe, and began their 42 year journey together.  Staying at home to care for their four children she then resumed her career later in life working at Marshall Fields in Oak Brook.  She loved decorating, playing bridge and visiting with her grandchildren.  Visitation 9:30am-10:45am Wednesday August 30^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside, proceeding to St. Cletus Church for Mass at 11:15am.  Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Helping Hand Center, 9649 W. 55^th St., Countryside, IL 60525 would be appreciate.  Funeral home phone 708-352-6500
