Devoted grandfather of Shawn (Barbara) Jacklin, Crystal (Steve) Steinbach and Courtney (Alex) Alavi. Dear great-grandfather of Sophia Jacklin, Ryann, Danny and Chase Steinbach, and Kaya Alavi. Fond brother of Howard (late Dorothy) Jacklin and the late Carolyn (late Edward) Nelson. Dear uncle of many. Emmett was a WWII Army Veteran, a member of the American Legion Cantigny Post #556, retired from International Harvester (J. I. Case) after many years of service, and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, St. John Council, Westmont Chapter.
