Donna Jean Stipcevich
Donna Jean Stipcevich, age 79, of Countryside. Beloved wife of the late Bruno; loving mother of Cathie (Mitchell) Van Driska: dear sister of Diane (Robert) Boen; friend of many. Donna served as President of the Sanitary District in Countryside for two terms and was also a long-time secretary for the Carpenters’ Union. She will be dearly missed. Visitation Friday, Nov. 3 from 3pm to 9pm with a service beginning at 6:30pm, at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th Street, Countryside. Chapel prayers 10:30am Saturday, Nov. 4 from the funeral home to Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Memorial donations in Donna’s honor may be given to the ASPCA. Funeral Info: 708-352-6500
I have lost my best friend but retain so many wonderful memories Donna was one of the most generous person that I know of. She was always helping someone and loved most people. My world will never be the same without her. She always knew just what to say to cheer me up when I was down. Even though miles kept us apart we talked often. I am so glad that I got to see her in July. We talked and laughed into the wee hours of the morning. Talking about the things we had done and the trips we had made together. I will miss you my dear friend. RIP until we meet again.
