Dearest Melody, I will miss our chats about Dr Who and the depth of God’s love, but I know you now are with Him and all the rest of the family in Heaven. Rest easy my friend, you are always on my mind.
Yvonne
I worked with Melody for a few years in the 90s at Christian Service Brigade. She was an enthusiastic worker and would help anyone with any task. I’m not a pet person so I got lots of lectures about the virtues of felines. Melody had cat pens, key chains, calendars, posters – you name it. She was a lovely girl and we all appreciated her at CSB. Our thoughts and prayers are with her Mom and family for God’s peace and comfort at this time.
My deepest sympathies to the Bourland and King families for their loss
Melody, I’ll remember your sweet smile and upbeat spirit. Your teaching kids in Sunday School and VBS was such a gift. One summer when I co-taught with you, you brought in dirt, grass, sea shells and other items to help make the lesson authentic. Your love of God’s Word must have influenced the kids a lot. The dogs will miss you and certainly Frank and I will. Saying goodbye to you will be hard. I’ll check in on your mom now and then. See you in Heaven one day, my friend. <3
