Marilyn T. Selig (nee Fitzpatrick), age 90, of LaGrange, IL. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Selig; loving mother of Susan (Jeffrey) Jeffries, Daniel Selig, and Elizabeth Selig; dear grandma of Grace and Jolene; fond sister of Joan (Don) Carlson and Donna (late LeRoy) Drake; aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation 3 to 9pm Monday, Feb. 26 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral prayers 10:15am Tuesday, Feb. 27 from the funeral home to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. My deepest sympathies to Dan , Sue and Jeff and Beth. Marilyn was a character and had a long and wonderful life that created so many wonderful memories for you. She was truly up for an adventure, any time, any where. Prayers for comfort and peace.

Marilyn was a mom to all. Deepest sympathy and prayers to the Selig family . Mom always made me laugh.
I am so sorry to hear about Marilyn’s passing. She was a really fun person and a character even at age 90 (an age you would never believe), because of her spunky personality! My deepest sympathy to the family and especially to my dear friend, Beth.
Always sad to hear when someone passed away . But when they were so full of life it makes it harder to come to grips with. She was a wonderful woman. Our prayers will be with all of her family. And to our friend Beth, all our love.

My heart is heavy from the news about Mrs. Selig. I have known her my whole life and the world has lost a wonderful woman.
I am thankful to have known her and grateful to her for giving me the best friend. Beth and I am been hanging out for 52 years now, she truly is still my best friend. I am at a loss of words. Love and prayers to my friend and her family at this sad time.
