Athie and I met 24 years ago when I first got into the insurance business. Not only an excellent mentor on personal lines coverage but a treasured friend! We continued our friendship even after I left the agency. What a resource on people and a love! May each life she has touched remember and keep moving her legacy forward. She is dancing with angels and watching over each one of you.
Athie and I met on the BNSF commuter train to Chicago. We would ride the train together each morning for years until she retired. She was a wonderful friend. My sincere condolences on the lost of your mother.
I’m Athie’s EX, Athie fought a long brave, strong and courageous battle against Pancreatic Cancer defying all the odds She was given when first diagnosed in early 2016. She was truly the EXCEPTION She always believe She would be right up to her death. Athie was a Loving & Caring Person who cared more others than herself. I can testify to this by one example. My wife Pam recently had to have Shoulder Replacement Surgery. Shortly after her Surgery I called Athie as I regularly did to check on how She was doing and feeling. Almost immediately Athie responded “It’s not how I am feeling and doing, It’s how is Pam doing and feeling”
Athie I’m truly sorry for all the Pain & Sorrow I caused You. To You it was always about “Family” and the Kids. May You rest in Peace until we ALL meet again
I am truly grateful to have a caring Aunt/Godmother. She was actively involved and interested in my life from the beginning. I am a stronger and better person because of family members such as her in my life. Rest in Peace and I love you Aunt Athie.
