Kevin V. Cullen, age 59, of Darien.  Cherished son of the late Vincent and the late Margaret Cullen.  Loving brother of Maureen (Randall) Chmel.  Devoted uncle of Matthew (Emily) Chmel and Elizabeth (Derrick) Jones.  Great-uncle of Bobby Chmel.  Visitation 3-8 p.m. Sunday July 15th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove.  Prayers 9:15am Monday July 16th from the funeral home to Christ the Servant Church for Mass at 10 a.m.  Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Fight Like a Champion (www.fightlikeachampion.org) appreciated.  Funeral info 630-964-6500

  3. Kevin will truly be missed. I shared some good times with him for about 15 years with FTB. We also remained in touch after I left FTB in 1996.

    The one true thing that I admired about Kevin was his positive attitude in light of the many medical issues he had to deal with from an early adult age. I am blessed to have known and worked with him.

  5. I don’t think that I ever met Kevin. Tomorrow a few of us will sing for his mass at Christ the Servant Church.
    He appeared to have a powerful impact on so many people. Eternal life begins when human life ends.

  6. I would like to express my greatest sympathy to the family. May God comfort you during this time. I will never forget the time I worked with Kevin. He was a great mentor and friend. He will be missed.

  7. I’m so sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing. He was one of my best friends during high school. I wish I could have stayed in touch with him.
