Eileen F. Toth

Eileen F. Toth, 83 years old, died on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at her home in Countryside, IL after her valiant fight with lung cancer. Her strong will to live, God, and the love and prayers of family and friends carried her through to heaven’s gates. Eileen was born in St. Louis, MO to Harry Cecil and Anna LaTurno. A loving mother and homemaker, Eileen was a remarkable cook, and enjoyed having everyone over for many years. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support of hospice, family, friends, and neighbors. Eileen was preceded in death by her son Ritchie and granddaughter Lynn. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Richard Toth; daughters Kathie, Karen, and Kim; grandchildren Amy and Matthew, Lynn, Megan and Tyler, Kate and Johnny; great-grandchildren Abby and Eva Lynn, Maddy and Jack, Colin and Ethan, Sophie, Oliver, and Hudson, John, and Landon; and many other loving relatives and close friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 19 from 5 to 9pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Visitation continues Friday, July 20 from 9am until time of service, 10am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst. Funeral Info: 708-352-6500

  3. For Karen and her entire family and friends. My heart has been with you daily since July 12th. I have prayed for your strength and comfort. I have prayed in thanksgiving for Mom’s life. I now pray for Richard and healing. I so wish I could be there to hold your hand, Karen. Know I am there in spirit.
