Sister Dorothy Lynch (Sr. Kathleen), C. S. J., age 88. Beloved member of The Congregation of St. Joseph of LaGrange, celebrating 69 years of Religious Life. Loving daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Lynch. Dear sister of Vincent Lynch, Rev. Myles Lynch (Tom), O. S. M. and the late Sr. Marguerite Lynch, C. S. J. and Norine (John) King. Cherished aunt and great-aunt of many. Visitation 3:30 to 8pm Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 at The Congregation of St. Joseph Chapel, 1515 W. Ogden Ave., LaGrange Park where Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10am Monday, Sept. 24, 2018. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Congregation of St. Joseph appreciated. Sr. Dorothy earned a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University and two Master’s degrees, one from Loyola and one from DePaul University. She was on a Leadership Team at Nazareth Academy in LaGrange Park, and at St. Paul High School in Chicago. Sr. Dorothy was President of The Sisters of St. Joseph of LaGrange, Executive Director of the Christian Life Center in LaGrange and Pastoral Associate at St. Francis Xavier Church in LaGrange. Sister Dorothy exemplified what a Christian truly is. When I met her, she was in charge of the food pantry at St. Francis. She was such a kind and humble person. God bless you, Sister Dorothy, for all your love and kindness.
