Joyce Zitek (nee Kapsalis), age 84, of LaGrange. Beloved wife of the late Russell Zitek. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Petros and Bess Kapsalis and brother Andrew Kapsalis. Devoted aunt of Marc Kapsalis. Dear great-aunt of Marcos and Caleb Kapsalis. Loving cousin of the Kapsalis and Karrison families. Wonderful friend of many, especially her neighbors and fellow dog lovers. Joyce was a loving mother and caretaker of her “babies” (dogs), for more than four decades. Visitation 4 to 8pm Sunday, October 14^th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55^th St., Countryside. Funeral Services begin at the funeral home 9am Monday, October 15 ^th. Church Service begins at 10am Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, Westchester. Interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace to follow.
