Dr. Thomas O. Chua, age 77, of Naperville, born March 7, 1941 and passed away October 16, 2018. A visitation will be held 1-7 p.m. Sunday November 4th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. He was a faithful member of Grace UM Church for many years. A quiet believer. May God welcome him home.
I will miss seeing Dr. Chua at Grace Church. He was a sweet man and always had a warm and welcoming smile.
He sat in the pew in front of me at Grace Church during the 8:15 Sunday service. I will miss greeting him with “Peace be with you.” May you Rest In Peace, gentle soul.
My mother Bobbie and I were his patients since the 1970’s in Aurora and even after we moved away. Dr. Chua was an INCREDIBLE Doctor removing warts, skin tags, and skin cancer from my mother’s face for the last 11 years. When we arrived today for my mother’s appointment, I was mortified at the notice on his 2 doors in Aurora regarding his arrangements. I’m really shaken up about it actually. What a sad loss for all of us who knew him, but he’s probably resting easy up there. RIP Dr. Chua we’ll miss you!!!
Started seeing Dr Chua as a teen in the 70’s, my children as teens for acne, later on my grandson, my mother and sister also went to him. You never had to mess around with multiple appointments like other dermatologist especially when driving great distances. He is irreplaceable.
So sorry to hear of his passing, he was a wonderful Doctor. I also had been a patient since the 1970’s. He will be missed.
We have been going to Dr Chua for years. We even got used to his grumpy nature.
We went to him for so long he felt like family. We were always happy because he
got the job done quickly and efficently. We will miss him dearly because he was
our friend as well as Doctor.

I was shocked when I was notified of his passing. His treatments for all of my skin conditions was great. It was such a boost to my self esteem. May God bless and keep him in his loving arms
