WARD WILLIAM RUSKE, 87, a 55-year resident of The LaGrange Highlands, and a respected, valued and gifted Engineer who was employed by the Square D Company in Chicago. Beloved husband of Roberta, who passed away in 2016. Loving father of Renee (Mike) Blasingame and Eric Ruske. He was the oldest of three sons (Kaye and Lynn Ruske) born to  Ernest and Vera Ruske of Fenton, Iowa. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Ward and Roberta met while in college and married soon afterwards. Devoted grandfather of Katelin (Tyler) Anderson, Alex and Nick Blasingame, and Jack, Eliot, Julian and Siena Ruske.  Dear great-grandfather of Aviana Blasingame.  At Ward’s request, no services will be held.  Memorial contributions in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated (www.alz.org).
