Joseph P. Dunne, age 51, of Naperville. Beloved husband of Kim for 24 years. Loving father of Brendan. Cherished son of Mary Lazowski and the late Gerald Dunne. Devoted brother of Tom (Joan), Mary, Cathy (Dave) Shoopman and Cecilia (Pat) Carlson. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Visitation 9 a.m. Friday May 3rd until time of funeral mass 10 a.m. at St. Mary of Gostyn Church, 445 Prairie Ave, Downers Grove. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery. Joe was the kid I rode around Addison with on bikes and skateboards in grade school. Those days, we were neighbors and best friends. It is never easy to hear this kind of news. Rest In Peace, childhood friend.

Brother Joe, remembering a few days together. The beautiful golf courses we toured, especially the one we thought that guy was far enough ahead that we wouldn’t hit him. The wonderful fireworks display we created in front of Mother’s house one fourth-of-July evening…… Got into double trouble on that one. The family outing to six flags with our sisters and spouse’s, Which reminds me of your special ride on the American Eagle. I wasn’t there, but did they ever let you back into the park after that ? That’s what brothers were for… Love You, Joe.
