Betty Jane De Freece, age 85, a resident of Phelps, WI, passed away on Friday May 3, 2019 at Eagle River Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 30, 1933 to her parents Gilbert and Leona Beranek.

Betty is formerly of Oakbrook Terrace, IL where she worked for Sears for 12 years. She has lived in Phelps for 24 years and worked at Chipmunk Hollow and AP Staffing in Eagle River. She was a member of the Land O Lakes Bible Church where she loved singing in the choir.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents: Gilbert and Leona; sister Dorothy and brother Richard. She is survived by her husband: Roy Lee De Freece Jr.; children: Vicki (Paul) Hartung of Willowbrook, IL and Roy (Kathy) De Freece III of St. Charles, IL; sister: Lorayne Pletting of Aurora, IL; grandchildren: Roy IV, Ashley; and great grandchildren: Danny, Bentley, Blake and Jolee.
