Leonard J. Vitalo, age 75, of Darien. Beloved husband of Julie for 30 years. Loving father of Tracy (Vee) Harwell, Dino (Rose) Vitalo and Kelly Vitalo. Devoted grandfather of Maria, Brianna, Samantha and Joey. Great-grandfather of Ella. Dear brother of the late Robert Vitalo. Fond uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend to many. Visitation 3-9 p.m. Wednesday May 29th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday May 30th. We’ ve been friends for 65 years and I’ve shared a lot of memories with you and your brother Bob thruout our lives, right up to our current breakfasts twice a week with so many of the guys we’ve known most of our lives. My friend you will be surely missed, but know you’ll be thought of often, especially when we gather twice a week and discuss everything and share laughs.
