Dorothy Marie Tiedt, 81, of Willow Springs. Beloved wife of Gerald for 61 years. Loving mother of Mark (Renia) and Annette (Edward) Simon. Devoted grandmother of Tony and Nick Tiedt, Jessica (fiancé Mitch Manowsky), Samantha and Brad Simon. Dear sister of the late William (late Catherine) Powers, Jr. and the late Paul (late Arlene) Powers. Fond aunt of many. Visitation 9am until Funeral Service 11am Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11500 German Church Road, Burr Ridge, Illinois 60527. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. She is rejoicing, but we miss her.

I will always treasure her fun and laughter that was a part of my childhood. There was nothing like her kolaches, and she made our family is feel so welcomed at Christmas once we moved downstate! I also remember how she would have a dinner for me any time I did not have to work at the track that summer in 1985!
I am very grateful for her!! My life was better because of her!
