Rochina “Rocki” DeBartolo, age 71, of Willow Springs, IL; loving mother of Nicole (Michael) O’Brien and Micheal (Erin) DeBartolo; dear grandmother of Delaney, Patrick, Quinn, and Olivia; dear sister of Geraldine (Dan) Aichinger; beloved daughter of the late Constantino and Phyllis DeBartolo.  She was a long-time court reporter at Cook and Will Counties,  cherished her time with family and friends, and was a savior of senior pets.  Visitation 3 to 8pm Monday, July 8 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Funeral Prayers 10:30am, Tuesday, July 9 from the funeral home to St. Cletus Church, LaGrange. Mass 11:15am. Entombment Christ the King Mausoleum at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside. Memorial donations given to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Young at Heart Rescue are appreciated. Funeral Info: 708-352-6500

  3. My deepest condolences to you and your family. We went to IHM, I always thought she was so cool, laid back and in charge. In my teen years, I was rather jealous, I didnt have that, lol. We had met several laters when she was doing her court reporting…..again, I couldn’t fathom how she did this. She and I remained friends on Face Book. It will be my honor to come and pay respects.

    I had the pleasure to know Rocky from her years working with us at the Will County Courthouse. She was a delight. I pray that your faith brings you comfort now that she is wrapped in the loving arms of our merciful God. Rejoice in the memories, remember the laughter and know she will forever be in your hearts.

  7. I was a friend of Rocki’s (and Peggy Lasater’s) at St. Simeon’s in Bellwood. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Rocki was a very special person and way to young to leave us. God Bless your family.

  9. My prayers and condolences to the family. Rocki was such an upbeat and kind lady. I had the pleasure of working with her at 26th & California. She loved her family and doted on her grandchildren, which I got a kick out of seeing on Facebook. May she rest in peace.

  13. So glad I was able to keep in touch through FB over the last few years. She loved her life and grandkids. Only lived 1 block from her house in Bellwood and we were in the same 8th grade class. This is sad news. Strength to the whole family.

  14. Rocki and I lived less than a block away in Bellwood and went to St. Simeon’s. Had the opportunity to keep in touch on FB over the last few years. It was easy to tell how much she loved life and her grandkids. This is truest a sad time. Strength to the whole family.
