Mary Mendez, age 87; beloved wife of the late Paul Mendez; loving mother of Julie (Glenn) Pieruccini, Pauline Mendez, Linda (David) Flores, Paul II (Doreen) Mendez, Mary Mendez, and Anette (Richard) Gilliam; dear grandma of 19; fond great-grandma and aunt of many. Visitation Sunday, August 18 from 4 to 8pm at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside where a funeral service will take place at 11am on Monday, August 19. Interment private.
The loss of a mother is profound. Gary and I send our sympathy to all the family.
Mendez Family. I will miss my dear loving friend here at Charles Court. We bonded right from the start. She loved her lottery cards I used to get for her. GOD SPEED MARY.
Aunt Mary’s joking with me will be what I miss the most. Mendez family y’all are blessed to have her as long as we did. God bless everyone.
