Sidney Jon DeVries, age 57, of Western Springs, formerly of Grand Rapids. Beloved husband of Jennifer Murphy for a wonderful 14 years. Loving father of Trevor Jon DeVries and Harper June DeVries. Dear brother of Mark DeVries and Jana (Russ) VanWyk. Sidney was preceded in death by his parents Sidney and June DeVries and his father-in-law Edwin Murphy and mother-in-law Leona Judith Peel. Sidney was a wonderful friend to many. Sidney was fond of the outdoors, being an avid skier and runner. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father. Services private.
