MaryAnn “Sis” Lewis (nee Metz), age 91, of LaGrange, formerly of Lyons. Beloved wife of the late Donald Lewis. Loving mother of the late Anne Lewis. Devoted sister of the late Edward, late Nicholas, and late Henry. Dear aunt of Edward Jr, Katherine, Lorelei (Malmborg), Mark, Johanna, Christian, and Margaret (Colbert). Visitation 9am until time of chapel prayers 10am Wednesday, October 2nd at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, with procession to follow to 10:30am Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church, LaGrange. MaryAnn has been our next door neighbor and friend for nearly four decades. We have admired her strength and courage in meeting the challenges of living alone for too many of those years. In recent years we have especially enjoyed her fondness for ‘Hepzibah’ the little black cat she fed and took care of. We will miss her greatly,
