  3. My sympathy goes out to your family. I am so glad to have lunch with him a few months ago in Calumet, MI. Your light post will shine for a long time.

  4. Dan was a kind and gentle man. As neighbors, we were the lucky ones to be growing up next to Dan and Carol in Crystal Lake. Watching your family grow and then our families becoming better friends with each day that passed is the best memory. We remember that Dan always had a smile on his face and was so friendly. Whether we were playing baseball or snowmobiling or just chasing gophers in the side yard Dan would be there with us. Thanks Dan for some of the best memories as kids.

You are in our thoughts and prayer! Rest in peace.
    Love The Hoeft Family.
