Grace Shirlee Stein, nee Pearsall, 95, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, December 20, 2019.  Her joy in life was spending time with family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Robert (2005) and was admired by her 4 sons Peter (Karen), Joseph (Yaeko), Michael (Debbie) and Robert (Rosey) and her daughter Susan.  She leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, her sister Alice (late Jack) Whedon, along with many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother the late William (late Margaret) Pearsall.  Visitation 3 to 9pm Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301-75^th Street, Downers Grove, Illinois 60516 where Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, December 27, 2019.  Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois at 1pm.  In lieu of flowers, Shirl would like you to go out and buy yourself something nice.  Funeral home phone 630/964-6500
