  1. She was such a wonderful lady. I spent many many hours at the Hodgkins library growing up. She was always so kind and happy to see me. What a wonderful spot of sunshine she was to my day. I remember her smile and her patience with my endless quest to read everything I could find. I only wish I had known she lived so close to me. I truely was blessed to have her in my life.

  2. You were such a joy to work with at Hodgkins Public Library for the few years I was there and always so kind to EVERYONE you came into contact with. You will ALWAYS be thought of very fondly! My prayers love and thoughts to your family. 🙏❤😊 May you be in Peace. 😇

  3. I worked with Connie at the library for 10 years. She loved all the children of Hodgkins and passed on her love of books to everyone. She will be missed!!

  4. Mrs. Grune had the sunniest disposition I’ve ever encountered. I met her at U of I after becoming best friends with her amazing daughter Susan. I’ll never forget that laugh and smile that could light up a room. She was an inspiration and role model on what a loving, caring, supportive mom should be. If only there were more moms in this world like Mrs. Grune. God bless her and her beautiful family whom adored her!
