LaVerne C. Kroehnert, age 94, of Darien. Beloved wife of the late Rudolph. Loving mother of Dennis (Diane) Krohnert, Rita (James) Cmolik and Glenn (Roberta) Kroehnert. Devoted grandmother of 7 and proud great-grandmother of many. Preceded in death by her siblings Raymond and Richard Veit and Dolores Hardyke. LaVerne worked for many years as a teller at NBD Bank in Woodridge. Due to current gathering restrictions, services and interment will be private. Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother. May she rest in peace. I remember your mom as a hard working woman. I think when we were in grammar school at St. Joseph, you and I had about the only two working moms! I still live on Dunham and think of you every time I pass Jefferson.
