Maria G. Lopez, age 70, of Hodgkins, IL; beloved wife to Jesus Alcantar; loving mother of Francisco (Marcy), Maria Alicia (Leandro) Parra, Maria Teresa, Jose Luis (Maria De Los Angels), Elias (Rose Marie), Victor (Erin); loving grandmother of 24; loving great-grandmother of 22. “Mama Lupe” lived life to the fullest especially when she was cooking and offering advice. She vibrantly lived life for her entire family, and her family will go on with treasured memories and her wisdom to hand down to the LOPEZ generations now and forever.  In the last moments of her journey, even as the prayers of her beloved family beckoned for her, she waited until she heard and felt the presence of all her living family.  Only then did she take the Lord’s hand and chose to live eternally.
