  1. Love you Gram. Will miss you. You always made the best french toast. You made grandpa his drinks (highball?) or vodka gimlet? I was little then. You had the coolest Christmas tree, even to this day it is a cool tree. Rotating on the mirror base.

Your basement was the cool chill party place, with the naughty bar novelties. I played with the alligator grabby toy, would try and pinch people.
I remember your map if the USA, with all the pins for the places you visited. That was an accomplishment.
I remember grandpa set the forest on fire in Arkansas shorty before we came up for a visit. I heard you were in the fire departments radar for awhile.

Those are some of my memories..

  2. Dear Auntie Martha,
You are gone only a few days and we already miss you so much. Your days of suffering on this earth are over. You are in a better place and we wish for you all your favorite Englebert Humperdink songs and a big Bucket of your favorite Kentucky Fried Chicken. We will be along one day, so save a wing for us and we’ll have a picnic just like the old days with everyone there.
God saw you growing weary, He did what he thought best,
He put His arms around you and said, “Martha, come and rest.”
    Until we meet again,
Tom, Phyllis, Todd {In spirit},& Becky

  3. I am so sorry that I am not able to be there in person to honor (Great) Auntie Martha’s life, but my love, prayers, and spirit are with Connie, Eddie, my parents, my Aunt Judy, and the rest of the family. Auntie Martha was a woman who was always put together from head-to-toe. I loved watching her interact with my Grandma Rose when they got together —it was like they were young girls again going to the Melodie Mill. I hope that’s what she’s doing now with Papa and the rest of her loved ones up in heaven.

    Love and Kisses,
    Becky
