Melvin “Mel” Sebesta, age 85, of Darien. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann. Loving father of Jerry, Melvin Jr. and Thomas (Laura). Devoted grandfather of Taylor and Abby. Dear brother of Tom Sebesta and the late Jean Ebert. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Thursday October 29th at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 301 75th St., Downers Grove, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday October 30th. We’re so very sad to hear of Uncle Mel’s passing. I know he had some tough times lately and we prayed for comfort and peace for him. He and your mom were always kind to me when I was younger and I have a lot of fond memories of them and you all from those days. I hope you find comfort in your memories of the good times. He will be deeply missed by all of us. May he rest in peace.
